Access management
The access management allows the administrator of the software :
- Creating the profile of a patient, examiner and judge
- Linking one or more judges to an examiner in order to judge the recorded session of this examiner
- Granting/revoking the users of the software access to some functions of the software
- Resetting passwords
Words
The Words list section allows viewing the words grouped by item (sub-list). There are 50 items where each contains 12 different words. Below, an example of item 5 is presented.
50 random words are selected, 1 from each item, by the examiner from this list and used for patient recording.
Sentences
The Sentences list section allows viewing the sentences listed in-group of 5 to 15 words per sentence. There are 11 groups where each contains 100 different sentences. An example of the group of 5 words per sentence is presented.
22 random sentences, 2 from each group, are selected by the examiner from this list and used for patient recording.
Patient
This section allows the management of patients : add new patient, edit an existing patient or delete an existing patient.
Examiner
This section allows the management of examiners : add new examiner, edit an existing examiner or delete an existing examiner.
At this section one or more judges can be assigned/selected for judging recordings of a specific examiner.
Judge
This section allows the management of judges : add new judge, edit an existing judge or delete an existing judge.
Single word intelligibility assessment
Recording session
The 50 words randomly selected are presented to the patient for recording. The words can be printed in small or big format and presented to the patient for reading or can be pronounced by a high-quality speech synthesizer that is integrated to the software. Either read or pronounced, the examiner starts recording the patient. At this section, the examiner can assign one judge or more for judging this recording. The software notifies the judges about the recording session left by the examiner.
Sentence intelligibility assessment
Recording session
The 22 sentences randomly selected are presented to the patient for recording. The sentence can be printed and presented to the patient for reading or can be pronounced by a high-quality speech synthesizer that is integrated to the software. Either read or pronounced, the examiner starts recording the patient. At this section, the examiner can assign one judge or more for judging this recording. The software notifies the judges about the recording session left by the examiner.

Judging session
The examiner notifies the judge that there is a material ready to be evaluated. The judge accepts it and starts judging the recorded session. At this section, the examiner has full control on the recording and judges. The examiner assigns judges to evaluate the recordings and can lock any judge at any time. This is done by notifications exchanged between the examiner and the judge.

This judging is done the same as the single word judging above except it is applied on the 22 recorded sentences.
